USIC is hiring a Utility Locator to help prevent underground utility damage and protect infrastructure. The role is suited to safety-focused, quality-conscious people who enjoy outdoor, independent field work. No prior locating experience is required; experienced locators are also encouraged to apply. USIC provides training and opportunities for advancement. Technicians work independently in the field using a company-provided vehicle and ticket and claims management systems. They locate and mark underground utilities, document their work, and photograph each locate. These are daytime, full-time positions. Because many locates have a 48-hour turnaround time, technicians generally work the day after holidays and some weekends as needed. Overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts—including nights and weekends—may be required depending on business needs.
