About The Position

The Utility Cleaner supports vital hotel functions by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness throughout The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami. The role helps ensure efficient service and a welcoming, guest-ready environment.

Responsibilities span cleaning and preparing dishware, equipment, work areas, and linens; transporting materials and supplies throughout the hotel; and supporting cleaning and operational needs in the Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Laundry, and other areas. The Utility Cleaner follows company policies, quality standards, and safety and security procedures; maintains a professional appearance and respectful communication; and supports team goals.

The position requires moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It also involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare dishware, equipment, work areas, and linens to established cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Transport dishware, linens, supplies, and other materials accurately and promptly throughout the hotel to maintain stock levels and uninterrupted service.
• Support cleaning and operational needs across Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Laundry, and other hotel areas.
• Maintain organized workspaces and complete assigned tasks within established standards and timeframes.
• Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety and security procedures, including reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communicate clearly and respectfully with others.
• Build positive working relationships and support the team in achieving shared goals.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
