About The Position

Utility Cleaners support essential hotel functions and may work across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. They help prepare clean linen and dining ware, operate and maintain cleaning equipment, and transport dishware or linens throughout the hotel. Associates are expected to follow company policies and procedures, maintain quality standards and professional appearance, foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions. They perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

No high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
No related work experience is required.
No supervisory experience is required.
No license or certification is required.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Responsibilities

Support cleaning needs across hotel departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry.
Prepare clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
Transport dishware or linens throughout the hotel.
Follow company policies and procedures and uphold quality standards.
Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees and departments and support team goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
