About The Position

The Stocker/Cleaner/Utility position is a full-time role responsible for maintaining store appearance, stocking merchandise, and providing customer service. This role involves ensuring products are fresh, attractively displayed, and correctly priced, as well as keeping the store clean and safe. The position requires attention to detail in inventory management, customer interaction, and facility upkeep.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years old.
Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in retail sales preferred.
Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure product areas are stocked, rotated, and displayed to ensure freshness, appeal, and easy customer access.
Comply with company guidelines for maximizing sales, profitability, and customer service by ensuring all grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed, and priced correctly.
Complete build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise.
Maintain inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, and stocking merchandise according to schematic.
Validate deliveries by verifying invoices and reviewing discrepancies with the Store Manager.
Prepare displays by assembling, dating, and price marking in-store displays.
Provide prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
Greet customers as they enter the area and thank customers as they leave.
Resolve or assist to resolve routine customer concerns within established guidelines.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Sweep and mop floors.
Dust and/or wash windows, counters, displays, store areas, and bathrooms.
Pick up and dispose of trash, litter, or debris.
Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
Clean/check equipment including coffee machines, beverage, ice, or other refrigeration units, and other machines, tools, and work aids used.
Attend job-related meetings.
Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
Foster a spirit of cooperation to maintain intradepartmental work flow.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform all duties with minimal supervision.
Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
