About The Position

The Utility Bar Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment by adhering to all Health Department and Safety guidelines. This includes proper lifting techniques, safe use of hazardous chemicals, and reporting any safety concerns or maintenance needs. The role involves nightly cleaning of various bar areas, cocktail server stations, floors, floor mats, and drains, as well as cleaning trash cans and specific areas like the shrimp room and gun room.

Requirements

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke and high noise levels.
Must work calmly during stressful times (increases in business volume).
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and may work in unusually hot, cold, noisy areas and steam.

Nice To Haves

Ice Machines need a deep cleaning (to be scheduled with engineering).

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Follow all Health Department guidelines.
Follow all Safety guidelines for lifting and using hazardous chemicals.
Report any safety issues, repairs needed or suggestions.
Clean Kings bar, Palace bar, Hugo’s bar and the Shooter bar, floors and floor mats nightly.
Clean Cocktail Server’s station, floors and floor mats nightly.
Clean all floor drains.
Clean trash cans.
Clean shrimp room floor, floor drains and inside the walk in cooler.
Empty and clean the gun room trash.
Clean and dust all bottles and shelves including the speed racks at Hugo’s bar.
Keep display cases clean and dusted.
Ensure gun rooms are trash free, floors are mopped and racks are kept clean.
Check chemicals on glass washers nightly.
Perform other duties as assigned by the MOD.
