About The Position

Performance-based Ushers are needed for NJPAC 2024-2025 Season. Weekly hours worked vary and ushers will be scheduled according to availability and performance calendar. This position is a Union job.

Requirements

• Must be friendly, polite and enthusiastic.
• Weekend availability is required, Sunday is a mandatory workday.
• Experience in guest/customer service or hotel/hospitality industry.
• Ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs and concerns of guests.
• Possess a sensitive, friendly, engaging personality, and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Nice To Haves

• Daytime and/or Open availability is a plus.
• Experience with guest accessibility or cash handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special requests as needed.
• Assist patrons by scanning tickets, greeting and escorting patrons to their seats, distributing programs, and attending to guests with special needs.
