About The Position

Provide quality, value-added professional service in the theatre area to meet or exceed brand standards for quality of service, provide guest helpfulness, and guest friendliness.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow employees.
Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding theatre processes.
Practice written safety standards and rules at all times.
Must be able to lift/push/pull 30 pounds.
Requires ability to reach, grasp and feel.
Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching up to 100% of their shift.

Responsibilities

Must be courteous and professional at all times
Must be able to react quickly to seating issues and customer concerns calmly
Must be punctual and well-groomed at each performance
Must be flexible for scheduling purposes
General housekeeping duties including vacuuming, dusting and picking up trash.
Direct and accompany patrons who must leave their seats during a performance, always keeping safety of patron and actors in mind.
Take tickets, scan and check for accurate date and time then direct patrons to the proper seating location or on to the next usher for seating assistance
Always treats guests, actors and other staff members with respect and courtesy
Must become familiar with areas in which costume changes are taking place as well as timing
For set pieces going on and off the stage and comfortable with holding customers from these areas in a safe and courteous manner.
Take direction from the House Manager in a positive and receptive manner.
