User Experience Designer

CoreLogic
$77,700 - $96,000Hybrid

About The Position

The UI/UX Professional specializes in developing and maintaining the operation, user experience, and functionality of commercial websites. Working under general supervision with oversight from senior team members, this role focuses on designing web page layouts, content, user interface graphics, and icons using established methodologies. The position involves conducting usability testing and website usage analysis to ensure optimal user experiences without leading design architecture or strategic planning.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two or more years of experience design / product design experience.
  • An online portfolio showing relevant, user-centered work.
  • Strong research skills: real experience facilitating user research and usability testing, interpreting results, and turning them into design decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine sense of urgency. You communicate clearly, build relationships fast, and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working in command-line interfaces and code-based, AI-assisted design tools, or a proven ability to pick up new technical tools quickly. This is core to how we work.
  • A clear grounding in user-centered design principles and designing interfaces from the end user's perspective.
  • Fluency with a modern design tool such as Figma, and experience working within a design system or component library.
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive on highly technical teams in an agile environment.
  • A genuine curiosity for new and emerging tools, and the judgment to know when "faster" is actually better.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery: facilitate a range of user research and usability testing methods, synthesize findings into clear direction, and translate what you learn into decisions the whole team can act on.
  • Build and maintain user profiles and personas that keep the team grounded in who they're designing for.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to design experiences across web and mobile.
  • Design anticipatory, AI-assisted experiences. Surface the next right action, shape how people work alongside intelligent features, and design the trust and control that make those experiences feel safe.
  • Create process flows, information and content architecture, and wireframes at every fidelity, through to high-fidelity, visually accurate design.
  • Build working prototypes in code-based, AI-assisted tooling against our design system, not just clickable mockups.
  • Work day-to-day in command-line and code-adjacent environments as part of the design workflow.
  • Produce accurate design specifications and contribute reusable front-end patterns back to our design system.
  • Use behavioral analytics to validate decisions and iterate.
  • Present research, prototypes, and designs to stakeholders, and partner with your team to gauge whether a solution is actually working.
  • Be an advocate and champion for the user, and design to meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).

Benefits

  • Generous PTO and 11 paid holidays, plus well-being and volunteer time off.
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave and a baby stipend.
  • Multiple medical plan options with mental health and wellness support offerings.
  • 401(k) with company match and vesting after one year.
  • $400 annual well-being stipend and tuition assistance up to $5,250.
  • Recognition Rewards, Referral bonuses, exclusive discounts and more!
