About The Position

The Used Vehicle Manager at Acura of Avon in Hartford County will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the used vehicle department. This includes managing inventory, pricing vehicles, and ensuring profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the used vehicle market.

Requirements

Prior experience in automotive sales and management
In-depth knowledge of the used vehicle market and pricing strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using automotive software and CRM systems.(cdk,firstlook,eleads)

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the used vehicle department to maximize sales and profitability
Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain customers
Maintain an effective inventory by sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing used vehicles
Determine pricing strategies based on market trends and vehicle conditions
Ensure all vehicles are inspected and reconditioned to meet quality standards
Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales campaigns
Train and mentor staff on product knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer service
Track and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
