About The Position

Miller Truck Leasing is looking to add to our growing Sales Team in Logan Twp., NJ. If you have experience selling commercial trucks or have been in the sales space at a car dealership we want to talk with you about this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and the equivalent experience in auto and/or truck sales
  • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding customer service experience with a coachable and team oriented attitude
  • Valid driver's license along with the ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions

Responsibilities

  • Determine each customer's needs by asking questions and striving for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Search our inventory and match up the customer's needs with our trucks which have been maintained by the Miller maintenance team and who have prepared trucks for sale and to meet the customer's expectations.
  • Attend sales meetings with new and existing customers.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, as well as, a prospect development system used for business development customer follow up.
  • Review and analyze actions to determine how to be more efficient and effective as a salesperson.
  • Know and/or learn equity, values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
  • Know and/or learn federal, state and local laws that govern truck sales.
  • Discuss benefits of buying a truck maintained by Miller throughout its life with customers.
  • Ability to learn and follow the Miller Selling System.
  • Promote Miller contract maintenance programs to increase customer retention.
  • Prepare and maintain prospect lists highlighting potential sales and where each target sits in sales cycle.
  • Will travel to Amsterdam, NY as needed to support the business though typically one time per month.
