About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician for its shop in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role offers a collaborative, fair work environment. The technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned, following dealer and factory standards, and inspects and repairs preowned vehicles that are eight years old or newer, most with fewer than 80,000 miles. The work does not include heavy-line or body work.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous automotive mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification.
• Own a set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.
• Respect for teammates and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Inspect and repair preowned vehicles.
• Perform lubrication, filter changes, and flushes.
• Repair brakes and tires.
• Perform suspension work and alignments.
• Conduct vehicle inspections.
