About The Position

Lithia Nissan of Eugene is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to meet dealership standards for safety, reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction. Work is performed onsite in Eugene, Oregon, and reports to the Service Manager. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with pay of $20–$30 flat rate. Professional automotive repair experience in a dealership or shop setting is required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional automotive technician experience.
Professional automotive repair experience in a dealership or shop setting.
Strong diagnostic and repair abilities across multiple vehicle makes and models.
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Team-oriented attitude and dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are ideal.

Responsibilities

Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
Complete vehicle reconditioning, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately.
Ensure repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with service advisors, managers, and team members to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
