About The Position

Sheehan Cadillac is seeking a Used Car Sales Associate to help customers choose and purchase vehicles at the dealership. The role involves welcoming customers, learning about their needs, explaining vehicle features and optional equipment, and delivering professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations. The associate follows the dealership’s sales process, works to address objections and close sales, and reports objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis to the Used Sales Manager. Requirements

• Previous dealership experience is a significant plus.
• Comfort with compensation based on commission sales.
• Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday.

• A clean and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to submit to an employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Help customers select a vehicle by asking questions and carefully listening to their responses.
• Explain product performance, applications, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe optional equipment available for purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers.
• Deliver high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentations and demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and complete other steps in the sales process in accordance with company standards.
• Report objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis to the Used Sales Manager.
