About The Position

O'Daniel Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pricing strategy, sales performance, reconditioning oversight, and profitability of the used vehicle department. This individual must possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record of driving sales and gross profit.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive management experience, preferably in used vehicle operations.
• Strong understanding of vehicle valuation and market pricing.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems and automotive software.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the used vehicle department to achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Analyze market trends and adjust vehicle pricing to remain competitive while maximizing profitability.
• Oversee vehicle reconditioning processes to ensure timely frontline readiness.
• Work closely with the sales team to maximize retail opportunities and inventory turnover.
• Train, coach, and develop sales staff to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with all dealership, state, and federal regulations.
• Review departmental reports, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Foster a positive team environment and uphold dealership values.
