Apple Autos is seeking a high-performing Used Car Lead Technician to play a critical role in their used vehicle reconditioning operations. This position combines hands-on production work with leadership responsibilities, ideal for a technician who wants to lead from the front, mentor others, and drive shop performance. Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive technician (used car/reconditioning experience preferred)
Prior leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience strongly preferred
Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
Ability to train, coach, and hold technicians accountable to performance expectations
High attention to detail with strong documentation habits
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Work day-to-day in the used car shop performing diagnostics, repairs, and reconditioning work
Lead by example to drive 100% efficiency and productivity within the used car technician team
Train, mentor, and develop used car technicians to improve skill set, quality, and output
Ensure all repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to dealership standards
Complete and oversee repair orders, documentation, and warranty processes in a timely manner
Inspect used vehicles and determine necessary repairs to meet safety and quality standards
Collaborate with service advisors and management to communicate vehicle needs and status
Help improve shop processes, workflow, and overall reconditioning performance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
