About The Position

The Used Car Buyer is an in-store, Monday-Friday role working directly with a dealership to help dealer partners acquire inventory from private sellers through a proprietary platform. This high-volume sales and lead-management position focuses on contacting private vehicle sellers, gathering vehicle information, following up, and setting in-store appraisal appointments. It is suited to candidates with automotive sales, BDC, internet sales, SaaS sales, or phone-based sales experience.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with phone-based sales and high-volume outreach.
• Organized and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
• Goal-oriented, motivated, and performance-driven.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in BDC, internet sales, automotive sales, or SaaS sales.
• CRM or sales platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Contact private vehicle sellers through phone, text, and online messaging.
• Work leads from Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, AutoTrader, and similar platforms.
• Collect vehicle information, including VIN, mileage, condition, and ownership details.
• Build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally.
• Coordinate with dealership management on pricing direction.
• Follow up consistently to convert leads into appointments.
• Track activity, notes, and lead status in the VETTX platform.
• Meet daily and monthly outreach and appointment goals.
