About The Position

The buyer develops and maintains outside purchasing sources, stays informed about auto auction activity and prices, and attends auctions regularly. The position uses a range of sources to acquire inventory, including live auctions, online sources, financial institutions, new and used car dealers, and off-street purchases. Requirements

At least 2 years of purchasing experience.
Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members.
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Acquire vehicle inventory for all locations on a needs basis.
Develop and maintain outside sources, including wholesalers and retailers, for buying vehicles.
Keep abreast of auto auction activity and prices and attend auctions regularly.
Use available sources to acquire inventory, including live auctions, online sources, financial institutions, new and used car dealers, and off-street purchases.
