USED CAR AUTOMOTIVE RECONDITIONING SERVICE TECHNICIAN
About The Position
The H+H Group is growing its Team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC), a State-of-the-Art Reconditioning Facility in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall. This role is for a Flag Hour, Used Car, Automotive Reconditioning Service Technician. In this role, you will work on basic repairs such as tires, brakes, and routine, light-duty maintenance. You will need a basic set of automotive tools, a quality mindset, and a desire to work with a fast-paced team of outstanding Technicians. The facility handles reconditioning needs for three high-volume brands, averaging over 400 used car repair orders (RO) per month. All Certified Pre-Owned Inspections are automated to replace filters and wipers. The majority of the work consists of tires, brakes, alignments, batteries, shocks, and struts. Heavy line work is completed at main stores, with the focus in Recon being Time-to-Market. Responsibilities include repairing vehicle problems, test-driving vehicles to ensure work is fixed correctly the first time, and performing work as safely and efficiently as possible. Schedule options are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
Requirements
- Be an Experienced Automotive Technician.
- The ability to read, and comprehend information and perform calculations.
- The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
- Perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and other maneuvers associated with the position.
- Operate a motor vehicle cautiously and safely.
- Lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
- Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Operate motor vehicles with manual, automatic transmissions and EV's.
- Operate necessary equipment, both manual, and power driven in a safe manner.
