About The Position

Nebius is seeking a highly capable USA Regional Transportation Security Manager to lead the protection of high-value assets across all transportation operations in the United States. This role holds end-to-end ownership of in-transit supply chain security across the US, covering all transportation lanes, carrier operations, and last-mile delivery of critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for shaping and executing regional transportation security strategy, managing risk across a complex carrier and logistics network, and leading the response to in-transit security incidents. This is a high-impact role operating at the intersection of security, logistics, and operations, with direct influence on the resilience and integrity of Nebius’ infrastructure deployment across the US transportation network.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in transportation security, logistics security, or in-transit operational risk management
  • Proven experience owning security or operations across a large geographic region (US experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong experience working with transportation providers, including carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile delivery partners
  • Demonstrated experience leading incident response and managing complex in-transit security events
  • Ability to operate independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across internal and external partners
  • Analytical and structured approach to risk assessment and problem-solving
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead transportation security across the United States, with full accountability for regional in-transit risk and performance
  • Serve as the primary authority and escalation point for all transportation security matters within the US
  • Ensure the secure handling, packaging, and movement of high-value assets across all transportation nodes, from origin to final delivery
  • Define, implement, and continuously evolve regional transportation security standards, controls, and procedures aligned with global policies
  • Establish and enforce security requirements across transportation partners, including carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile delivery providers
  • Conduct risk assessments across transportation routes, handoff points, and carrier operations, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Lead end-to-end response to in-transit security incidents (e.g., theft, loss, diversion, tampering), including coordination, investigation, and resolution
  • Manage and oversee GPS tracking, geofencing, and real-time monitoring platforms across active shipments
  • Drive continuous improvement of transportation security capabilities, including route security reviews, carrier vetting, and technology tools
  • Monitor and report on regional transportation security performance, risks, and trends, providing clear and actionable insights
  • Partner closely with the Global Transportation Security Manager, regional warehouse security, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and scalability
