About The Position

Real Q, TP ICAP Group’s institutional credit trading and data proposition, is seeking a Sales Trader to join its US Real Q Fixed Income team. The role provides execution support and day-to-day coverage for institutional investors and sell-side traders. It facilitates trading activity, delivers market insight, and supports high-quality client service while driving engagement across the firm’s trading protocols.

The Sales Trader works in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment and serves as a key link between clients, liquidity, and internal teams. Success is measured by client activity and traded volume, client behavior (Q-score), platform liquidity quality, and low error rates.

Requirements

• 0–5 years of capital markets experience.
• Understanding of electronic fixed income trading.
• Proven ability to service clients and build relationships.
• Demonstrable use of AI tooling to improve productivity.
• Experience on an execution desk in a sales-trader or other capacity.
• Familiarity with OMS, EMS, dealer connectivity, and trading workflow technology.
• Deep commitment to client outcomes.
• Consistently bring the client perspective into strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day trade execution and client trading requests.
• Encourage participation and liquidity engagement across trading protocols.
• Resolve trade issues, booking errors, and post-trade queries.
• Provide client education on workflows, tools, and best practices.
• Support onboarding and adoption of new products and enhancements.
• Deepen Real Q relationships with existing clients.
