About The Position

Twin Prime is an AI lab focused on reasoning in the physical world, particularly within national security contexts. We are developing advanced AI architectures capable of real-time reasoning across diverse sensor data. Headquartered in New York City, we are expanding our presence into Europe with a new office in Athens, Greece.

We are seeking a US Growth Lead to act as our primary representative and trusted advisor to the United States defense and intelligence communities. This role involves utilizing extensive networks and operational expertise to initiate high-level discussions, influence program requirements, and align our cutting-edge AI capabilities with critical government missions. This is a position that demands a high degree of trust and strong relationship-building skills within the national security sector. You will collaborate with executive leadership to refine and implement our go-to-market strategy, serving as the strategic frontrunner to open doors and establish the essential trust for our sales and capture teams to succeed in securing high-value defense contracts.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience operating within the US national security community (e.g., Active Duty Military, National Security Council, Intelligence Community, or Senate Armed Services Committee).
• Possess security clearance (active TS/SCI preferred).
• Proven ability to navigate the national security landscape, influence acquisition and/or operational priorities, and build consensus among senior defense leaders.
• Exceptional executive presence and the capacity to engage credibly with senior public officials and flag officers as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies.
• In-depth understanding of how the US Government identifies capability gaps and develops requirements, with the ability to strategically position new technologies within these frameworks.
• Comfort working independently in a dynamic startup environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a senior growth or government affairs role at a rapidly growing defense technology or frontier AI company.
• Extensive familiarity with the emerging AI evaluation, safety, and regulatory frameworks within the US federal government.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with executive leadership to refine and execute Twin Prime’s US defense go-to-market strategy, identifying and prioritizing key opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and the broader national security sector.
• Cultivate and maintain significant relationships with senior public officials, military leaders, and policy stakeholders (e.g., Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), National Security Council (NSC)) to establish Twin Prime as a reliable technology partner.
• Function as a strategic "door-opener": inform mission stakeholders about our capabilities, influence future program requirements, and facilitate deal closures for our sales and capture teams.
• Translate complex AI capabilities, technical limitations, and cybersecurity risks into actionable operational relevance for defense leaders across the technical spectrum.
• Work closely with internal engineering, product, and policy teams to ensure our product development roadmap consistently aligns with the evolving strategic priorities of the national security community.
• Act as the internal advocate for the US defense customer, anticipating mission needs and strategic shifts within the defense landscape.
