About The Position

The U.S. COO Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience for rising college seniors interested in strategy, analytics, transformation, business operations, governance, and enterprise execution. Interns are aligned with a participating area within BMO’s U.S. Chief Operating Officer organization and contribute to business priorities while building knowledge of BMO and the financial services industry. The program includes shared U.S. Banking onboarding, hands-on work in an assigned business area, professional development, networking, leadership exposure, and a capstone or final presentation. Interns apply academic knowledge, explore career pathways, and may build skills relevant to future entry-level analyst roles or BMO development programs, including the Business & Operations Development Program. Assignments may involve business intelligence and analytics; digital transformation and process excellence; strategy execution and business transformation; client strategy, insights and commercial enablement; program delivery and enterprise enablement; or governance, risk and controls. Interns deliver analysis, project work, process improvements, or recommendations that create value for their assigned team.
