About The Position

As a key member of our Finance team, you will lead U.S. accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, cost/inventory accounting, and period-end closures. You will ensure timely and accurate budgeting and forecasting processes, and clear communication on actuals vs Forecast for the US businesses. You will deliver proactive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and coordinate US Capex investments activities. You will also support the Operations leadership teams for the US plants. This role involves overseeing technical accounting functions such as invoicing, costing, inventory, payroll/labor, and GL processes. You will manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize working capital and operational efficiency, and maintain proficiency in global financial systems to ensure data integrity and effective decision support. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance internal control policies and procedures, and support acquisition integration by aligning new processes with existing business standards. You will build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering ownership and accountability, and promote continuous learning and professional development through training and industry engagement. You will also support cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc requests across departments, perform other duties as assigned, and uphold and promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a global manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • CPA or CMA
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and internal controls.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
