About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens physician role in Urology, covering a scheduling need in Fort Wayne, IN. The position requires 24-hour call coverage for trauma center urology cases, including both inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician will perform a variety of urologic surgeries, manage adult and pediatric patients, round on hospitalized patients, and provide consultations. Collaboration with the trauma team and other specialists is essential for comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Licensed in IN or IMLC
- BLS, ATLS
- Fellowship
- Hospital Privileges Required
- General Urology: adult & pediatric
- Advanced endoscopic techniques
- Laparoscopic surgeries
- Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
- Ureteroscopy
- Radical Cystectomy w/ileo-loop conduit
- Radical prostatectomy
- Nephrectomy
- Prostatectomy
- Pelvic node dissection
- Robotic Surgery: Partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound
- Adrenalectomy
- Renal and bladded u/s (w/biopsy)
- TRUS biopsies
- Fertility work-up
- Incontinence procedures
- Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for trauma center urology cases
