About The Position
We are seeking a Urologist for locum tenens coverage at a Level II Trauma hospital in Dubois, PA. This role requires providing 24-hour on-call coverage for urology emergencies, including weekends and holidays. The position involves inpatient rounding, consultations, and performing a variety of urological procedures. The Urologist will also serve as the urology coverage hub for multiple Penn Highlands facilities.
Requirements
- Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Board Certified (required)
- DEA required
- ACLS certification
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for urology emergencies, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform inpatient rounding and consultations for urology patients.
- Conduct urological procedures such as cystoscopy, stent placement, kidney stone extraction, and laser lithotripsy.
- Collaborate with emergency department and other providers for Foley catheter placement and UTI management.
- Serve as the urology coverage hub for multiple Penn Highlands facilities (Clearfield, Elk, Brookville).
