About The Position
AcutePet Urgent Care is opening a new facility in West Cleveland (Avon) and is seeking founding veterinarians to help establish the hospital's clinical tone and culture from the ground up. This is an opportunity to shape urgent care medicine in a growing community, offering high-quality medicine without the burnout associated with overnight emergency care. The role involves seeing cases such as lacerations, minor trauma, GI obstruction workups, toxin ingestions, and acute vomiting/diarrhea, focusing on urgent diagnostics and stabilization. The position is ideal for emergency veterinarians seeking a better work-life balance, experienced general practitioners looking to expand their diagnostic skills, or newer doctors seeking mentorship and structured growth in urgent care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent)
- Interest in urgent care or emergency-style diagnostics
- Strong clinical reasoning and thoughtful patient care
- Clear, compassionate client communication
- All experience levels welcome

Responsibilities
