About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Urgent Care Technician/EMT to join their Onalaska Urgent Care team. This department provides excellent quality care to patients of all ages, averaging 100 to 150 patients daily. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team including MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, RN, EMTs, health unit coordinators, and social workers. The department has 20 patient exam rooms, including procedure and consult/discharge rooms. If a patient requires emergent care, staff will stabilize and transfer them to the main hospital campus.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B)
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is desired.
