About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join their Onalaska Urgent Care team. This role involves providing direct patient care to a broad range of patient acuities, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The department sees 100-150 patients daily with diverse needs, utilizing 20 treatment spaces. The role also involves stabilizing and transferring emergent patients to the main hospital campus when necessary. The position is part-time, 48 hours biweekly (0.6 FTE), with orientation/training near full-time for 12 weeks. Shifts are 12 hours with every third weekend and holiday. Typical shifts include 6:30a-6:30p, 8a-8p, 9a-9p, and 10:15a-10:15p. The starting pay is $38.96 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials.

Requirements

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
An active Wisconsin or multi-state RN license upon start
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and adults
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Nice To Haves

Three years recent acute RN experience is highly desired
