Urgent Care Physician - Sheboygan, WI
About The Position
The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified trainers and utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The role involves providing bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals within a 40-60 mile radius. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training and a wound fellowship are provided during onboarding.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday
