Urgent Care NP or PA
About The Position
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to our busy Urgent Care Clinic at our Midtown Clinic in Sacramento, CA. Midtown Urgent Care offers many services to our patients and community. We evaluate, treat, and stabilize non-life-threatening conditions then refer the patient back to the treating physician. The clinic is staffed with an experienced Urgent Care Team of 4 physicians and 2 APPs, along with RNs, LVNs, and MAs. This is a full-time opportunity with 165 shifts per year and great flexibility with schedules. You will work in a collegial and supportive environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- DEA and valid and unrestricted California license.
- Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare).
- Completion of state mandated educational courses.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and stabilize non-life-threatening conditions.
- Refer patients back to their treating physician.
