About The Position
Francis W. Parker School is seeking applicants to fill coaching positions for the Fall 2026 season. This is a seasonal, temporary, part-time role that begins in August. Requirements
- Ability to communicate with high school-aged student-athletes as well as parents and Athletic Department Administration
- CPR/AED Certification
Nice To Haves
- Coaching experience at the high school level strongly preferred
- Experience/familiarity with IHSA and ISL rules and a commitment to youth sports preferred
- ISBE or ASEP/NFHS certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Create a team environment of respect and rapport in both coach-athlete and athlete-athlete interaction
- Engage all athletes in learning through individual activities, group and team instruction
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting practices, responding to athletes' needs and areas of concern
- Maintain accurate program records of awards, wins/losses, and statistics
- Assist in scheduling non-conference matches and tournaments
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with student-athletes and assistant coaches
Benefits
- Compensation is paid on a bi-monthly basis for all required coaching duties performed Monday through Sunday.
