About The Position
WSYR-TV Newschannel 9, a Nexstar ABC television affiliate, offers internships for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees. Interns may be accepted by departments including News, Promotion, Digital Media, Sales, Weather, Sports, Creative Services, and Production. The posting states that the internships are at WPRI in Providence, RI. The internship provides meaningful educational and work experiences designed to meet the intern’s academic and career goals. The education received is for the intern’s express benefit; interns do not replace or displace Company employees and receive direct, close supervision from an appropriate supervisor.
