About The Position
Hydro One is seeking a University Co-Op Student for a 12-month term in the Portfolio Reporting team, starting Fall 2026. This role will support Portfolio & Financial Analysts in assisting program & project managers. The student will gain technical skills in SAP, advanced Excel, Power BI, and Project Management principles. Hydro One is the largest electricity transmission and distribution provider in Ontario, serving nearly 1.5 million customers with a history dating back over 110 years. Requirements
- 3rd year Business/Commerce, Finance/Accounting, Engineering/Computer Science, Mathematics stream
- Must be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term (exceptions made if work term is required for graduation)

Nice To Haves
- Learn technical skills such as: SAP (mainly Controlling module, Project Systems, Plant Maintenance, Accounts Payable, BIBW)
- Advanced Excel (functions, pivot tables, macros, some visual basic), and Power BI
- Knowledge of Project Management (planning, scheduling, control and reporting)
- Practical management accounting, financial and data analysis skills
- Assist in documenting data, attending portfolio review meetings
Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining latest information for month-end portfolio reports
- Develop and update reports using Excel (pivot tables)/Power BI and SAP as required
- Compiling explanations for variance to budget
- Updating project manager assignments in SAP
- Data reconciliation, support and updating data in tracking systems and SAP
- Requesting resources and creating reports for outstanding requests
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing for system upgrade / reconfiguration of various software
- Preparing reports on in-service additions, capital expenditures along with risks/opportunities
- Assist in documenting data and actions/minutes during portfolio review meetings
- Assisting with other department initiatives, ad-hoc requests, and additional reporting requests as assigned
