About The Position

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is hiring a part-time, fully remote University Admissions Counselor for its US Diploma campus. The counselor will guide a caseload of about 200 students in Grades 9 to 12 (Years 10 to 13), from high school course selection through university applications worldwide. The role also includes tracking deadlines, submitting school documents and recommendation letters, and communicating with families. The position is 25 hours per week with flexible hours; some early morning or evening availability is required for student meetings and classes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting students with college counseling and advising.
  • At least 3 years of experience with the UK curriculum and A Levels, including how A Level choices and results support students' university goals.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage deadlines for a caseload of about 200 students.
  • Comfort working remotely and communicating clearly with students, families, and colleagues across time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NCAA advising for student athletes, including eligibility and college placement.
  • Knowledge of the University of California (UC) application, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting UCAS applications to UK universities.

Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly one on one with students on the caseload to plan academic paths, activities, and university goals.

  • Guide students in choosing clubs and activities that match their interests and goals.

  • Support students through the full university application process worldwide, including the Common App, the University of California application, and UCAS.
  • Track application deadlines and requirements for each student and help keep students on schedule.
  • Write counselor recommendation letters and submit school documents for students.
  • Communicate with families about students' progress, plans, and deadlines.
