Universal Service Representative
About The Position
As a Universal Service Representative, you’ll welcome members and assist with everyday banking needs. You’ll process deposits and withdrawals, assist with loan payments, issue cashier’s checks, and help ensure transactions are accurate and efficient. You’ll also balance daily transactions, support teammates, and perform a variety of branch tasks. As needed, you may help open and close accounts, update member information, and provide account support. All employment applications must be submitted electronically. As part of the hiring process, Barksdale Federal Credit Union conducts a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and online skill assessment before extending an offer of employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union.
- General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems.
- Applicants must complete a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and online skill assessment as part of the hiring process.
