About The Position

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, products, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to build customer loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients. The position is part time, 20 hours, at the Daly City Westlake Branch.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service to internal and external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities through service transactions and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
• Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, and product initiatives.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, safeguard the firm's reputation and assets, comply with applicable laws and policies, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
