About The Position

The Universal Banker delivers FirstBank service excellence by accurately and efficiently processing transactions, identifying and meeting customer needs, and selling bank products and services through the Bank’s needs discovery process. The role supports Financial Center Manager operations by performing Teller, Teller Manager, and Financial Service Representative duties as needed. The position also builds relationships with community businesses and consumer clients while working toward personal and branch goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Specific bank experience preferred.
• Notary certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend and explain appropriate bank products and services using established guidelines, the brand model, and service standards; refer customers to appropriate Bank partners as needed.
• Assist customers with transactions and respond to basic and advanced inquiries about account balances, transaction history, service charges, interest rates, and related matters, following established guidelines and service standards.
• Support Financial Center Manager operations by performing Teller, Teller Manager, and Financial Service Representative duties as needed.
• Build relationships with community businesses and consumer clients, achieving personal and branch targets and goals for new accounts and teller operations.
• Model consistent, distinctive service when delivering the FirstBank customer experience.
• Follow safe and sound banking practices, applicable laws and regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, risk management policies, and security protocols.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
