About The Position

The Universal Banker role responds to customers' needs by processing routine banking transactions at the teller window or on the platform under minimal supervision, and provides flexibility of coverage for the branch. This role engages in a broad range of sales and service activities to provide a superior level of customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Opening new accounts, handling teller transactions, marketing and cross-selling bank products and services, resolving complex customer service issues, utilizing banking knowledge to identify additional sales and service opportunities, building rapport to engage prospects in a banking relationship and enhance existing customer relationships, and referring customers to other banking services and other bank personnel as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Requires basic knowledge of job procedures & tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Working under moderate supervision.
• Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
• Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
• Typically requires 2+ years relevant experience
