About The Position

The Universal Banker responds to customers’ needs by processing routine banking transactions at the teller window or on the platform under minimal supervision, while providing flexible branch coverage. The role combines sales and service activities to deliver a high level of customer service and support the branch’s day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include opening new accounts, handling teller transactions, marketing and cross-selling bank products and services, resolving complex customer service issues, identifying additional sales and service opportunities, building relationships with prospects and existing customers, and referring customers to other banking services or bank personnel as appropriate. Other duties may be assigned.

The role requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, typically obtained through work experience and potentially vocational or technical education. Work is performed under moderate supervision. Problems are generally routine, though they may sometimes require interpreting or deviating from standard procedures. The position communicates information that may require some explanation or interpretation.

Requirements

• Typically requires 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• May require vocational or technical training.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.
