About The Position

Big Viking Games is seeking a Unity Content Artist (2D) with a Casino / Slots focus to support the development of a slot-based game experience. This is a hands-on production role focused on creating, preparing, and implementing themed content directly into Unity. While the primary focus will be on slot-style content, the role involves contributing across the broader content pipeline as needed. This is not a pure illustration role; candidates are expected to execute within the engine, adapt quickly to different content needs, and operate within a fast-moving production environment.

Requirements

• Solid experience working as a 2D Artist in Unity (implementation required)
• Proficiency in Photoshop
• Ability to take assets from concept to in-game execution
• Experience working within structured production pipelines
• Strong adaptability across different types of content work
• Flexible, team-first mindset — able to move between content areas as needed
• Strong execution focus — you ship work, not just create assets
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Already using generative AI tools in your workflow
• Open to learning and integrating AI into day-to-day production
• Interested in increasing output through smarter workflows

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on slot games
• Experience working on casino or social casino products
• Familiarity with themed content systems or “skinning” approaches
• Understanding of how visual content supports engagement and retention

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare 2D assets for slot gameplay, including themes, skins, and visual elements.
• Adapt content to match slot-style visual requirements and gameplay needs.
• Support the development and iteration of a slot-based experience within the product.
• Implement and execute assets directly inside Unity.
• Ensure assets are properly integrated and functional in-game.
• Work within the existing content pipeline to deliver production-ready assets.
• Contribute to both slot-specific and general content tasks as needed.
• Collaborate closely with content/design teams to execute gameplay features.
• Support a flexible, shared content production environment.
• Use generative AI tools to improve speed, iteration, and output quality.
• Continuously explore ways to integrate AI into your workflow.
• Operate with openness to new tools, automation, and evolving production pipelines.
