We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Medical Assisting experience to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist providers and nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California or Medical Assistant certificate preferred, but not required
  • Minimum one year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting (hospital, clinic, or long-term care).
  • Must have flexible schedule to accommodate coverage needs.
  • Must be bilingual Spanish
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
  • Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 months.
  • Current Annual Health Clearance.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of EHR systems and basic medical terminology.
  • Must have reliable source of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily patient care duties including bathing, feeding, dressing, and assisting with mobility.
  • Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and patient history accurately.
  • Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient visits or minor procedures.
  • Assist providers with examinations, specimen collection, injections, and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Support team workflows by scheduling, rooming patients, and updating medical records.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
