About The Position

The Unit Processor is responsible for meeting the store’s production goals. The role includes pre-sorting, quality sorting, hanging, and tagging products for the sales floor. The position is located at the South End Retail Store in Hagerstown, Maryland, and pays $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Receive product donations from donors.
• Determine which items are usable and saleable according to acceptable-donation guidelines.
• Meet production targets within specified time periods.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash cans, and keeping hangers and racks orderly.
• Follow required safety and security procedures.
• Comply with company and store policies and procedures, including opening and closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and completing required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Receive and verify merchandise delivered to the location from the warehouse and vendors.
• Participate in required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
