About The Position

The Unit Processor is responsible for meeting the store’s production goals by preparing products for the sales floor. Tasks include pre-sorting, quality sorting, hanging, and tagging merchandise. The role also involves receiving donations and incoming merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, following safety and security procedures, complying with company and store policies, participating in required training, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Ability to pass pre-screenings such as background or drug screenings.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

Receive product donations from donors.
Determine which donated items are usable and saleable according to acceptable-donation guidelines.
Meet production targets within the specified time period.
Pre-sort, quality sort, hang, and tag products for the sales floor.
Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash cans, and keeping hangers and racks orderly.
Follow required safety and security procedures.
Comply with company and store policies and procedures, including opening and closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and completing required paperwork accurately and on time.
Receive and verify merchandise delivered to the location from the warehouse and vendors.
Participate in training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
