About The Position

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff by coordinating assignments, providing clinical guidance, and fostering teamwork and accountability. Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, infection control practices, and adherence to state and federal long-term care regulations. Address resident, family, and staff concerns promptly, respond to clinical emergencies, and support quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • 2+ years prior experience in a clinical supervisor or leadership role
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
