The Unit Human Resources Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting departmental operations by coordinating hiring and onboarding, administering personnel processes, and providing guidance on human resources policies, procedures, and practices. The position supports employment activities for faculty, academic staff, support staff, graduate assistants, temporary employees, and student employees. Working closely with faculty, staff, students, supervisors, and college partners, the successful candidate will help foster a collaborative and service-oriented environment that supports employee success and operational effectiveness. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, careful attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to interpret policies and manage multiple priorities effectively.
