About The Position
The Unit Educator plans, implements, and evaluates educational and quality improvement activities on a nursing unit. The role supports excellence in patient care by modeling strong clinical practice and integrating new nursing knowledge. The Unit Educator collaborates with the Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and Nursing Development Educators, and helps patients, families, and co-workers grow through education that promotes health and wellness. The position is based at Henry Ford Health’s Warren campus.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Michigan RN licensure.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).

- Equivalent of four years of clinical experience with a defined patient population.
Responsibilities
