About The Position
Saint Peter's is seeking a talented, compassionate Registered Nurse to join its collaborative nursing team on Surgical Unit 3G. The hospital has earned its seventh consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation, recognizing exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The Surgical Unit RN assesses assigned patients, provides care in accordance with established standards, administers medications and parenteral therapies, and documents patient care.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
- Complete an ECG course during clinical orientation.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred; otherwise, a BSN must be obtained within three years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
- Use assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards.
- Perform procedures according to established Standards of Care.
- Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
- Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
