About The Position
The Crossings is a nonprofit retirement community in League City, Texas, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. Its goal is to maximize residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual potential while providing confidence to their loved ones. The Unit Charge RN works the day shift and directs the activities of aides, performs basic nursing functions, administers medications, and provides high-quality care to residents. The role calls for a service-oriented approach and professional, respectful, and tactful communication with residents, families, and coworkers.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Knowledge of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
- Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
- Model a service attitude, take ownership in solving problems, take initiative to make things better, and be friendly and courteous to residents, families, and coworkers.

- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or medical/surgical nursing.
