About The Position

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Supply Chain professionals are redefining the field of supply chain management. The Unit Aides in the Cornell Equipment Center (evening shift) are responsible for the supply replenishment and inventory of neonatal, pediatric, and adult code carts and all activity associated with delivery, cleaning, and retrieval of clean or soiled equipment to/from patient care areas/units. The unit aide position requires constant movement and use of elevators as our team seeks to transport, deliver, and retrieve heavy equipment throughout the hospital units (different floors) with the objective of working with our clinical partners to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time
Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as effective inter-personal skills
Ability to work with computer terminals and/or data entry systems
Basic math, verbal, and writing skills

Some previous experience working in hospital setting
