About The Position

As a Unit Helper you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. You will assist with patient appointments and transport assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to and from appointments
• Assist nursing staff in providing company for residents appointments
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
